Finnish duo of performance/dance film artist Hanna Pajala-Assefa and percussionist Mamba (Abdissa Assefa) perform "The Showing" in three unique Boston living spaces. Pajala-Assefa will also present a program of dance films by different Finnish filmmakers and choreographers created within the last 10 years.
Two of the three perfomances and the screening are open to members of the general public with an advance registration through Eventbrite and a $10 admission to help cover artist expenses at the door. All performances take place in private homes in either Cambridge or Boston. By registering you can reserve a spot for the date and general location of your choice. Specific location and directions will be distributed to those registered during the week preceding the event.
"The Showing" is Choreographed and performed by Hanna Pajala-Assefa, with original music composed and performed by Abdissa Assefa
